Providing a local solution for retrofitting high voltage substations of Iran’s electricity network in line with full automation

Considering the necessity of modern automation of power grid substations in the framework of global standards and the upgrading of traditional substations towards modernization, the necessity of providing scientific solutions and localization of automation in the country’s electricity network will be unavoidable. And the transfer of the country has been classified based on the level of automation implementation in them. Then, by introducing the retrofitting method in the field of upgrading industrial units, fully practical and optimal solutions have been presented in order to upgrade posts to higher levels in the direction of modern automation. Also, this solution has been combined with a proposed native software and its efficiency has been evaluated with a case study.
